Gabre-Jesu Mc Tair
Commenced his studies in the sphere of Sport with the Certificate in the Art and Science of Coaching at University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine and progressed to complete his Bachelors of Science Degree in Physical Education and Sport at the International School of Physical Education and Sport in Havana, Cuba. He furthered his studies with a Certificate in Sport Marketing and Management and a Diploma in Sport Psychology as well as a Diploma in Therapeutic Massage. He is currently completing his Masters in Sport for Development at the University of Trinidad and Tobago. His career has included professional interactions with various sports teams and national organizations. He serves the T&T Powerlifting Federation as the Certified International Powerlifting Federation Category II Referee and has assisted both the T&T and Guyana Amateur Powerlifting Federations with their referee and athlete development over a number of years. Presently employed with the Ministry of Sport and Community Development as the Director, Physical Education and Sport, Gabre-Jesu has also served as a full-time academic instructor at the University of Trinidad and Tobago and as a part-time lecturer with the University of the West Indies. In addition, he satisfies his passion for health and fitness as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer.
